The VOG Karoo Challenge
2014-02-09 Registrations to contend this challenge to asaf@mweb.co.za The route is a one or two day ride of just under 800 km. From the Post Office building in the centre of Swellendam and return to the start point.The route takes the rider along the popular route 62 (R62) through the historic and famous Meiringspoort and along the N1 highway for a short distance when it again seeks out and meanders the unique and beautiful Karoo countryside of South Africa. Swellendam can be accessed from Cape Town or the Easter Cape coastline. Reference to the map will illustrate the locality.
