The Four States Auto Museum invites all car and motorcycle enthusiasts to get an unforgettable experience by watching some very rare and exclusive models. The museum was formerly known as the Tex-Ark Antique Auto Museum and is located in Texarkana, Arkansas.
The museum aims at preserving, collecting and displaying antique automobiles and related archival documents that cover the period of about 100 years. In general the total number of exhibited vehicles is about 20 that are on display for three to six months.
Motorcycles and memorabilia serve also strong attractors for the public.
To the list of the items that surely shouldn't be missed by the visit to the museum are a Ford Model T and Model A, Civil War vintage horse-drawn hearse, a Studebaker dragster, a Nash Metropolitan and a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette. Newsletters, books and periodicals complement the vast diversity of the exhibition.
The Four States Auto Museum houses not only one of a kind vehicles but also some featured events including the annual car show in conjunction with Texarkana's RailFest and the annual Fall Fun Car Show & Swap Meet that help to raise funds to maintain a non-profit organisation.
