Box Canyon Dam Campground

Box Canyon Dam is a picturesque place providing a nice free campground for everybody.

The place belongs to the people of Pend Oreille County and is operated by Pend Oreille Public Utility District.

Box Canyon Dam´s Visitor Center is open Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm all the year round.

Here you can take a tour starting at the Visitor Center telling about electricity generation at Box Canyon Dam. Here you will be able to get the overview of the sights worth tourist attention and get some history information of the dam's construction.
