Seneca Rocks

Round trip from Rockville, MD (DC Area), this 418 mile tour uses no (ZERO) freeways. The route uses scenic routes Rt 33 and Rt 55 through the mountains.  
The center point of the tour is Seneca Rocks, WV, in the Monongahela National Forest. Purchased by the federal government in 1969, Seneca Rocks is one of the best-known landmarks in West Virginia.  These rocks have long been noted as a scenic attraction and are popular with rock climbers.
