Cluses-Evian Roundtrip

2013-09-29 We were visiting Hotel Cote Lac on the Neuvecelle road in Evian and found our 'long way there' to be nice enough to share it with you. Our trip started at Les Allues (73550) actually, but the ride up and down is of no interest, except for the part near Combloux and the Gorges d'Arly.

So shown here is just our ride through the Portes du Soleil ski area at Les Gets (and Morzine and Avoriaz) and back along the lake.

If you are looking for a hotel then Cote Lac is worth a try. It is not expensive and the director there rides a BMW 1150 RT (!)

The very windy little road at Vernaz (3rd Via Point) was found only because the main road was closed! Good hairpin practice there! ;-)
