Ride Your Motorcycle to Work Day
Ride Your Motorcycle to Work Day is an annual motorcycle rally held on the 3rd Monday each year and aimed to show general predominances of motorcycling as well as its importance for some social causes.
The idea of the first Ride to Work Day appeared in Road Rider magazine (now known as Motorcycle Consumer News) in the May issue of 1992 as a response to Bob Carpenter's suggestion that every person possessing a motorcycle should use it for riding to work on the same day with the aim to show how wonderful riding a motorcycle is.
The date of the first Ride to Work was July 22nd, 1992 supported by several motorcycle businesses. From that time on the event was constantly growing to reach such a scale as it is now - connecting all the countries and riders of every two-wheel vehicle.
So take your bike and participate in the Ride to work that will be held on June, 15 2015.
