Fylde BikeMeet takes take place EVERY Monday evening, come rain or shine, hail or snow;including bank holidays (even Boxing Day!), from 6.30pm until approximately9.30pm.
Bikerstravel from far and wide to visit the meet, where they are met with a warmwelcome and relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Many local Cafes stay open to enable those attending to grab a bite to eat.
The FyldeBike meet organizers have exclusive use of the two main Town Square Car Parks,thanks to their good relations with the local Council, Police and Traders.These provide dedicated, secure bike parking, with marshals on hand to keep aneye on your pride and joy while you wander around the other bikes or simplyhave a brew with friends.
As you cansee from the pictures, they welcome the bikes of all shapes, sizes and ages.
The meet isentirely NON-PROFIT MAKING.
All those who give up their time to become involved in the Organization and Marshaling doso without payment.
All profits from the meet (via collections/raffles/events etc.) are given to 2 nominated charities: North-West Air Ambulance and Fylde Community Projects Fund.
Meet History and Achievements:
Fylde Bike Meet was founded on a rainy 13th June 2005, in St. Annes Square.
Despite the appalling weather conditions at least 40 bikers turned up to see what was going on!
Nowadays,fine weather sees numbers in the hundreds attending, topping 500 on busy nights-making it one of the North-Wests most popular meets!
